Dual Plate Check Valve

Dual Plate Check Valves are flow sensitive and rely on the line media to open and close. The internal disc allows flow to pass forward smoothly, which opens the valve. The disc begins closing the Valves as forward flow decreases or is reversed, depending on the design. Dual Plate Check Valves can also help to prevent flooding in devices like water heaters. In addition they work to prevent damage to control valves, strainers, and flow meters caused by reverse flow of materials.
